Mother's love so present
With life she is aware
Children are the treasure
Each one a gift so rare

Always there to ease the pain
Tries to do her best
Hoping so with all her heart
That she can pass each test

Then as days in life go by
The hurts will come she knows
Offers them healing touch
Such tenderness she shows

Wishing she could take away
The sorrow they go through
Holds them close shows the love
With gentle touch renew

What power in a mother's love
Who seeks the strength from high
Looking at the child she holds
With love's sweet gentle sigh

Gather all the love around
With smiles of love she's there
Captive of her children's hearts
While she whispers I am here.
